Duo Hiberi was founded in 2012 and has followed the chamber music program during the Master program in Codarts (Rotterdam) finishing in 2013 with very successful results.

Among others, they received masterclasses from Henk Guitart, Sander Sittig, Nancy Braithwaite, Bram van Sambeek, Eric Hoeprich and Jose Luis Estellés.

Recently, they have won the first price in the “Storioni Toonzaal Prijs 2014” in Den Bosch, an influenced chamber music competition in Netherlands.

They also have played recitals in concert halls around Netherlands. Among others, they have played in Rotterdam, Tilburg, Den Bosch, Amsterdam and Den Haag.

We have collaborated with some chamber music festivals like Kamermuziekfestival in Den Haag and Storioni Festival.

Duo Hiberi worked together with the Dutch Radio and Television for the program Virus in Radio 4 and for the AVRO in the Spiegelzaal of the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam).

Our upcoming projects will be recitals in chamber music festivals, performing on radio, and recitals in concert halls.

Carlos Baños Gutiérrez Piano

Carlos was born in Spain, in 1989. He began his piano studies at the age of seven years in the Conservatory of Bollullos Par del Condado with Mr. Ignacio Torner. In 2007, he got in the Superior Conservatory of Cordoba, studying with Mr. Rafael Quero, Mr. Juan Miguel Moreno and Mr. Antonio Cantero.

He has the Master Diploma in classical piano obtained in Codarts being his teacher Mr. Bart van de Roer. He has played in solo recitals in Cordoba, Sevilla, Huelva (Spain) and Middleburg, Strijen, Enschede, Roterdam (Netherlands). He has participated in many projects, like "Debussy Marathon", “Spanish Marathon”, "Young performers cycle", "Chopin Marathon", "Rafael Orozco in memorian", etc. He has collaborated with the Codarts Orquestra in Middleburg or the Doelen (Rotterdam) and “Lira Numantina” orchestra in Spain. He has received advices and masterclasses of many well known pianists, like Mrs. Ana Guijarro, Mr. Alexander Kandelaky, Mrs. Elenia Orobio, Mrs. Ryta Wagner, Mr. Roy Howat, Mr. Jean Bernard Pommier, etc. In 2012, he has received masterclasses in De Doelen (Roterdam) by Mr. Emmanuel Ax performing the second scherzo of Chopin. This year, he was advised in De Doelen (Roterdam) by Mrs. Valentina Lisitsa and Mr. Yundi Li performing the first Chopin piano concerto.

Alicia Pallarés Tello Clarinet

Alicia was born in Andorra (Spain) and started to play clarinet when she was six years old. She finished her clarinet bachelor studies in 2008 in the Conservatory of Music “Salvador Seguí” of Castellón, Spain, studying with the teachers Santiago Pérez, César Martín and Julio Fresneda and obtaining by unanimity of the jury the final Career Price.

She has followed master classes and courses with excellent clarinettists like José Luís Estellés, Anthony Pay, Yehuda Gilad, Henri Bok, Vicente Alberola, Reinhard Wieser, Carlos Gil, Oscar Espina, Julian Farell, Anton Weinberg among others. She also has taken courses of chamber music with Jordi Mora.

She has played in Spain and The Netherlands in many cultural centres and concert halls as a soloist and with chamber music groups.

In 2013, she finished the master education in Codarts, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten with the clarinet teacher Nancy Braithwaite.

She has been a member of Spanish youth orchestras such as OSMO, Castellón conservatory orchestra, Codarts Symphony Orchestra, NJO (National Dutch Young Orchestra)  and she also has collaborated with professional orchestras.
